Jim Matteo is an entrepreneur, business leader, investor, speaker, consultant and author. In 2003, he founded Bird Rock Systems while surfing on the waves at Bird Rock in La Jolla, California, one of his favorite spots. In 2012, Jim was awarded the EO-San Diego, Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In addition to Bird Rock, Jim is a partner in CSCI, a member of the Nufund Angel Investment Group, and a mentor to hundreds of students, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.
